Research
As a health sociologist, my research is structured around 3 areas: cosmetic surgery professionals, the subject of my thesis; the experience of rare diseases; and the use of physical activities in the management of chronic diseases.
With this last and main area of research, the aim is to examine the mobilisation of physical activities in the context of chronic illnesses from the dual perspective of patients' reappropriation of these activities and the implementation of systems. Two research areas are currently being investigated: the first with Emilie Gaborit in addictology clinics, and the second with Carine Guerandel and Clément Rivière in a service caring for adolescents with a herniated diaphragmatic dome (a rare disease).
