I am carrying out a post-doctoral research funded by IFRIS on the prescription of Long-Acting Injectable Antipsychotics (LAIA). LAIAs are antipsychotic (or neuroleptic) intramuscular injections, used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, which replace the daily oral treatment. The project aims to characterize the organizational effects of this therapeutic innovation on the care pathways and organization of people living with severe mental health disorders. 

In January 2021, I defended a sociology thesis entitled "Administering disorder. Governing the Psychiatric Hospital since 1980" at the Centre for the Sociology of organizations (Sciences Po Paris). The thesis proposes a study of the genesis and effects of two recent changes in psychiatry: the judicialization of civil commitment, which implies that since 2011 a judge will hold a hearing to verify the legality of forced hospitalizations, and the lack of structural reform of the financing of psychiatric hospitals (which were not included in the T2A reform in the early 2000s), which nevertheless conceals gradual, but nonetheless real, changes in the methods of allocating hospital budgets.
