Research
My research focuses on the place of women of African descent in the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Belgium, both in the associative and activist sector and in the biomedical supply. More specifically, I am interested in how migrant women of sub-Saharan African origin are (im)thought by different types of experts with regard to the policies of PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) delivery.
My research is at the intersection of ignorance studies, feminist studies, and critical race studies as well as decolonial studies.
