Élise Ricadat is a psychologist and senior lecturer at the University Paris Diderot,
- member of the CERMES3,
- co-director of the social sciences section of the IRSL – the French Institute of Hematology based in Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris,
- and member of the steering committee of La Personne en Médecine.
She achieved her PhD in 2016 on “sexuality and romantic life of the adolescents and young adults with cancer”, using qualitative methods. Since, she developed various research projects focused on the psychological issues of having a serious or chronic illness, specially during the adolescence process, the caring relationship and more generally the question of identity when facing traumatic experiences.
She is currently conducting a strictly qualitative research project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) involving a team of social researchers and patient experts on the experiences of people with chronic illness during the covid (Sept. 2020 to Feb 22).
